Our Services

Our board-certified* neurologists with Baptist Neurology Group are dedicated to providing comprehensive, outstanding care for adults with neurological disorders.  Within the Baptist Health circle of care, our patients have access to a full range of sophisticated diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including advanced imaging technology, physician specialists, and specially trained nurses and staff.  Our goal is to improve our patients’ quality of life by bringing together precisely the resources they need.  

We offer a broad range of services to evaluate, diagnose and treat:

  • Vascular disorders involving the arteries, veins and lymphatic system (the tissues and organs that produce, store and carry white blood cells that fight infection and disease).
  • Bacterial, viral and fungal infections that affect the brain, spinal cord, and surrounding structures of the central nervous system.
  • Degenerative nerve diseases which can affect many of the body's activities, including balance, movement, heart function, talking and breathing.
  • Structural disorders of the brain, spinal cord and other parts of the central nervous system that result from injury or diseases.
  • Functional and movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS).

Baptist Neurology Group offers a breadth of experience and subspecialization. They include:

  • General neurologists to care for patients with a wide range of conditions of the brain, spine and central nervous system. These include, but are not limited to, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and migraines and other severe headaches
  • An epileptologist specializing in the treatment of epilepsy and other seizure disorders.
  • Neuroendovascular therapy specialists providing minimally invasive care, in collaboration with neuroradiologists, for patients suffering from severe stroke, brain aneurysms, and other disorders of the brain and spine.
  • Neuromuscular care physicians who diagnose and treat nerve and muscle disorders including ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), muscular dystrophy, and other neuromuscular diseases.
  • Neurophysiologists specializing in testing the electrical functions of the brain, spinal cord and the nerves throughout the body.
  • Vascular neurologists who are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke.
