Gregory Sengstock, MD, PhD

Dr. Sengstock returned to medical school in Tampa, Florida after practicing as a chiropractor for 5 years. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 1994 being the first to earn concurrent MD and PhD degrees. His PhD is in degenerative brain disorders, particularly Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. He served with the US Navy for seven years before settling in Jacksonville in 2000. With board certification in Neurology, Vascular Neurology and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Dr. Sengstock has a special interest in stroke, neuromuscular and peripheral nerve cases. He has served as Medical Director of the Baptist South Stroke Center. He is married with two children and is an avid cyclist.
